Faculty Profile

Dr. Thad Wadas is an Associate Professor of Radiology and the Director of the Small Animal Imaging Core Facility at the University of Iowa’s Carver College of Medicine.  He is also a member of the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.  He serves as an Associate Editor for the American Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, an Ad hoc grant reviewer for the NIH MEDI study section, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and the Swiss National Science Foundation. In addition, He gave the plenary lecture at the 2018 Korean Society of Radiopharmaceuticals and Molecular Probes Conference in Seoul, South Korea. He has received funding from the Department of Defense, National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Melanoma Research Alliance and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.
